CCAA City Champs Meet 2026

There are 2 sessions at CHAMPS. 
Session 1, Ages 10 & Under: 9:30am (Warm-ups: 8:20 am in two sessions); specific teams times pending
Session 2, Ages 11 to 18: (Warm-ups 12:20pm in two sessions); specific teams times pending
Note: Session 2 time may be shifted later to allow 30 minutes between the end of the AM session and the start of warm ups for the PM session.

  1. There is a max of 4 events per swimmer. Either 2 individual and 2 relays or 3 individual and 1 relay. A swimmer cannot do 4 individual events.
  2.  A swimmer must have competed in at least 1 regular season meet (including Splash meet) in order to be eligible to swim at Champs. THERE CANNOT BE ANY NT AT CHAMPS MEET. If you have NT in an event that you plan to swim in Meet 4 for eligibility for CHAMPS, you will need to wait to declare your swimmer in the CHAMPS meet after Meet 4 results are posted.
  3. Entries are due by 5pm Saturday June 20th.

JOB SIGNUP is Mandatory. You will not be signing up for a job, but will indicate your intentions for the TAAF State Meet In College Station.  This is to plan for relays. See sessions, dates, and times toward the bottom of this page for STATE.

Please Declare by noon, Wednesday July 1st.

REGIONALS SESSIONS:

  1. 10 & Under, Warm Up: 8:20 a.m. Start: 9:30 a.m.
    Note: Pool area will open at 7:30am and coaches meeting at 9:15am
  2. 11 to 17, Warm Up: 12:20 p.m. Start: 1:30 p.m.
    Note: Session 2 time may be shifted later to allow at least 1 hour between sessions

18 & Over Events:

Swimmers 18 & over will not swim at this meet but must register at Regionals for the State Championships as outlined below in STATE ENTRIES. They must have been registered with the State office and provided a TAAF ID #.

Entries:

  1. Individual swimmers, ages 8 and under, may enter a maximum of three (3) events
  2. Swimmers aged 9 and 10 may compete in no more than four (4) total events, including relays.
  3. Swimmers aged 11 to 14 may enter a maximum of four (4) events plus two (2) relays.
  4. Swimmers 15 –17 age swimmers may enter maximum of four (4) events AND 2 gender specific relays

Each swimmer must compete in his/her own age group. Ages are determined as of June 1, 2026. Be prepared to bring a copy of the swimmers’ birth certificates to prove ages in case of disputes / questions. 15–17-year-olds are not required to swim at region to swim at State. You must pay for entries at regionals.

Regional Entry Fees:

17 & Under: Entry Fees are $8.00 per individual event per swimmer. Relays are $32 per relay. 18 & Over: Entry Fees (not applicable).

Concessions:

The concession stand will be in operation during the meet, located in the indoor in the concession booth at pool the entrance CASH ONLY.

  • 1-2:30 p.m.: Coaches meeting
  • 2:30-4 p.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 4 p.m.: Session 1 (boys, 11-14)

Friday, July 31

  • 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Wristband sales and athlete check-in
  • 7-8:15 a.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 8:30 a.m.: Session 2 (boys, 9-10 and 15-17)
  • 12:30-2 p.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 2 p.m.: Session 3 (girls, 9-10 and 15-17)

Saturday, Aug. 1

  • 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Wristband sales and athlete check-in
  • 7-8:15 a.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 8:30 a.m.: Session 4 (men, 18 and over; boys, 8 and under)
  • 12:30-2 p.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 2 p.m.: Session 5 (women, 18 and over; girls, 8 and under)

Sunday, Aug. 2

  • 6:30-10 a.m.: Wristband sales and athlete check-in
  • 7-8:15 a.m.: Gates open and warmups
  • 8:30 a.m.: Session 6 (girls, 11-14)

17& Under: The top three (3) finishers in each event (individuals and relay teams) qualify for the State Championship Meet. *Exception - Important Note: Swimmers 15-17 may enter up to four events (plus 3 mixed relays for a possible total of 7) at state regardless of placement at the Region meet.

18& Over: Swimmer’s 18 and over will not be swimming at this meet, but must enter the State Championship Meet at this Regional competition. You must supply us with a time from the 2026 summer season and TAAF ID #. An unlimited number of competitors in the 18 & over age groups are eligible to compete at State and may enter in as many events as desired.

All Swimmers - All Ages: Registration for the TAAF State Swimming Championships must be made at this meet. Relay teams must register as a team, not individually. Relay teams must list alternates when you register. The entry fees for State are as follows:

▪$8.00 per event for Individuals.

▪$32.00 per event for Relay Teams.

The fees for State must be paid in cash. No checks will be accepted. State registration will be set up in lobby area. TAAF ID # will also be required at time of registration (ID # is mandatory for all entries including adults).
